What’s Involved in an Aphasia Choir Group?

Singing brings connection and a renewed sense of voice, even when words are hard to find. At ReConnect, our Aphasia Choirs are joyful, inclusive spaces where people with aphasia come together to express themselves and build confidence through the power of music. Led by trained music therapists, these sessions use rhythm, melody and repetition to support speech, breathing, and wellbeing.

But, above all, they’re about community, belonging and the simple pleasure of making music together. No singing experience needed, just a willingness to join in, hum along, or simply enjoy the moment

Carers are welcome at all our groups.
