Wellbeing After Stroke Group
Our group offers wellness-based activities to support the well-being of stroke survivors, families, and carers. It provides a warm, welcoming space to nurture both mental and physical well-being.
At the heart of this group is the opportunity to develop new ways of coping, sustain wellbeing over time, and improve overall quality of life in a gentle and supportive environment.
Whether you are looking to feel better in yourself, find calm, or simply try something new, this group offers a gentle, supportive space to explore wellbeing in creative and meaningful ways.
What Are Our Groups?
Our groups are lifelines of connection, recovery and belonging. Whether it’s sharing stories in a stroke support group, expressing yourself through art, singing in an aphasia choir or sitting in nature, every group is a safe, welcoming space where stroke survivors, people with aphasia and their families can rebuild confidence, reduce isolation and find joy in shared experience. Led by trained facilitators and often shaped by lived experience, our groups are designed to meet people where they are with empathy, creativity, and care.
Carers are welcome at all our groups.
